I twisted my lower back while picking up a 60 pound case of sugar, I instantly felt my lowere back make that crackling sound.  When this occurred my buttocks and left foot went completly numb.  I dealt with the pain and numbness for about two years before I got help.  Feeling the agonizing discomfort, I continued to go about my daily routine byu going to work and the gym. 

One day I sighted a chiropractic booth over at the Freemont Fair and decided to have them give me an intial exam or spinal screening.  What was interesting is that before I always thought that people who were trying to manipulate the structural integrity of your body, it would lie a cause of concern.

My very first impression coming into Matheny Chiropractic Center was everything because that is really when your taking the time to entrust someone with your healthcare.  The passion that Dr. Matheny has for his practice and patients won me over.  Dr. Matheny recommended that I come in three times a week for the first few  weeks as intensive treatment, then reduce to two and once a week, depending on phase of treatment.  It took a few months before I started to feel any results but once we had a breakthrough the healing process began to excel. 

I would tell people to at least consult in a chiropractor because overall my health has improved and I am a firm believer that you need chiropractic care for overall health.  It will always be apart of my life.
