As a World War II Veteran, throughout the years I suffered from spinal arthritis, calcified spurs, degenerated discs, scoliosis and in addition to poor posture.  The location of the pain was in my lower lumbar joints, where it would literally be unbearable.  Over the past 40 years was when it all started, as the years went by it progressed to increasing pain, disability as well as activity.  I was limited too sports activities and physical work.

Prior treatment included physical therapy, manipulation and chiropractic treatment.  What led to my decision to try chiropractic care was attending church and hearing from a good friend of his experience upon improvement when he received care from Dr. Matheny.

The staff at Matheny Chiropractic Center are the friendliest I have ever met.  Dr. Jeffrey has truly invested in helping his patients.  A positive attitude by all members facilitate healing by creating a relaxing atmosphere.  Recommendations made by the doctor were to receive adjustments, rehab therapy through vibration wobble chair, icing, stretching and spinal decompression.  The results of treatment were froma 5 pain level to a 1 now.  No I can do all the activities such as walking, yard work and standing for long periods of time without pain.  In addition to results, the care helped solve other issues with reducing the limits of intake on my medication.  I would recommend to others who are suffering to not delay care, I've told many friends about it and I am no longer skeptical about chiropractic.
